A.J. Croce celebrates his father's legacy
A.J. Croce, son of Ingrid and Jim, pays tribute to his father in this brand-new show commemorating 50 years of Jim Croce's music. Taking on two of the 70s folk rockers' albums, The Life and Times, and his final work before his untimely death, I Got A Name in their entirety. Also featured will be tracks from You Don't Mess Around With Jim and a few more surprises.
A revered artist in his own right, Croce Jnr said of the upcoming set list; "We'll be playing songs representative from all three albums, and also some songs the audience might not know from more obscure artists that I realized connected me and my father. It was those songs that eventually led me to do this show in the first place."
Son of legendary folk rock artists Jim Croce, American singer-songwriter and pianist, A.J. Croce blends rock, blues, soul and jazz with his distinctive voice and song writing which has earned him praise and fans in his own right. Since releasing his debut album in the early 1990s, Croce has built a catalog of original music, which introduced a new generation to his father's timeless songs and legacy.
